Five Arrested and Three Guns Seized in Pickering

Two adults and three youth are facing charges after three guns were seized during a robbery investigation.

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, at approximately 12:40 a.m., members of West Division received information related to a robbery that had just occurred in Toronto. A male suspect pointed a firearm at a limo driver before stealing a passenger’s backpack from the vehicle trunk. The passenger was not inside the limo at the time of the robbery. 

The suspect fled the area in a second limo that was later located by officers near Kingston Road and Liverpool Road in Pickering. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the limo and took seven occupants into custody.

Three firearms with two prohibited over capacity magazines and a large quantity of cash was located. One of the firearms had an altered serial number, while another was confirmed stolen from the United States.

Of the seven arrested, the limo driver and another occupant were released unconditionally. At the time of their arrests, four of the accused were already on weapons prohibition conditions.

The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.

Nicole Marie PROUT, age 47 from Toronto is charged with: Possess Firearm – No Licence x3, Possess Prohibited/Restricted Device x2, Occupy Motor Vehicle with Firearm x3, Possess Loaded Firearm x3, Tamper with Serial Number of Firearm, and Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime.

Elias MAHAMOUD-HILL, age 19 from Toronto is charged with: Possess Firearm – No Licence x3, Possess Prohibited/Restricted Device x2, Occupy Motor Vehicle with Firearm x3, Possess Loaded Firearm x3, Tamper with Serial Number of Firearm, Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime, and Breach Probation.

At the time of his arrest the accused was on weapons prohibition conditions.

A 17-year-old male from Ajax is charged with: Possess Loaded Restricted/Prohibited Firearm x3, Possess Restricted/Prohibited firearm x3, Occupy Motor Vehicle with Firearm x3, Knowingly Possess Prohibited/Restricted Firearm x2, Tamper with Serial number of Firearm, Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime, Fail to Comply with Release Order x2, Fail to Comply with Probation Order, and Possession Contrary to Order.

At the time of his arrest the accused was on weapons prohibition and curfew conditions.

A 14-year-old male from Toronto is charged with: Possess Firearm – No Licence x3, Possess Restricted/Prohibited Device x2, Occupy Motor Vehicle with Firearm x3, Possess Loaded Restricted/Prohibited Firearm x3, Possess Firearm with Altered Serial number, Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime, and Fail to Comply with Release Order x2.

At the time of his arrest the accused was on weapons prohibition and house arrest conditions.

A 15-year-old male from Toronto is charged with: Possess Restricted/Prohibited Firearm x3, Possess Restricted/Prohibited Device x2, Possess Loaded Restricted/Prohibited Firearm x3, Occupy Motor Vehicle with Firearm x3, Possess Firearm Knowing Serial Number has been Altered, Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime, Fail to Comply with Release Order x3.

At the time of his arrest the accused was on weapons prohibition conditions.

All were held for a bail hearing.
