Male Airlifted to Hospital After Single Vehicle Collision in Whitby
Two male youth suffered injuries following a single vehicle collision in Whitby.
On Thursday, June 11, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., members of North Division responded to a single vehicle collision on Duffs Road south of Townline Road West. An Audi sedan was travelling northbound on Duffs Road when it lost control, went off the roadway, and caught fire. Officers arrived on scene and located two occupants suffering from injuries.
A 16-year-old male suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was airlifted by Air ORNG to a Toronto-area trauma centre. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.
A 17-year-old male was transported to a local-area hospital with minor injuries.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
