Male Arrested After $22,000 Electronics Theft in Pickering
An ex-employee of a financial business in Pickering is facing charges after breaking into the office and stealing over $22,000 in electronics on multiple occasions.
In June 2026, members of West Division responded to a break-and-enter call at a financial business in the area of Liverpool Road and Pickering Parkway. Staff at the business received notifications that an ex-employee was using a stolen key fob to access the business office.
Further investigation revealed that between April 2026 and May 2026, the suspect had used the stolen key fob to access the office multiple times to steal over $22,000 in electronics.
On Friday, July 3, 2026, investigators from the West Crime Team, with the assistance of the Community Resource Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in Oshawa. The suspect was located near the residence and taken into custody without incident.
Oluwaloseyitan Jermaine KENTEBE, age 35 from Oshawa is charged with: Break-and-Enter, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
He was released on an Undertaking.
