Male Arrested After Assaulting Two GO Transit Employees in Oshawa

A male is facing charges after assaulting two GO Transit employees in Oshawa.

On Thursday, July 9, 2026, at approximately 12:50 a.m., members of Central West Division responded to an assault call at the Oshawa GO Station located at 915 Bloor Street West. A male was directed by GO Transit personnel to leave the property. The male suspect refused and assaulted two GO Transit employees before fleeing the area.

Officers arrived on scene, and with the assistance of the K9 Unit and Air1, searched the area. A short time later, the suspect was located hiding in dense brush and tall grass by the K9 Unit, who took him into custody without incident.

The victims suffered minor injuries.

Emmerson John FORRESTER, age 19 from Oshawa is charged with: Assault x2.

He was released on an Undertaking.
