Male Arrested After Break-and-Enter Investigation in Whitby
A male is facing several charges after the completion of a break-and-enter investigation in Whitby.
On three separate occasions between Friday, April 10, to Monday, April 13, 2026 a male suspect broke into a business in the area of Ashburn Road and Kent Mills Road and stole copper wiring, piping, and parts valued at over $17,000.
Investigators were able to identify the suspect and on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, members of the Central West Criminal Investigations Branch located the suspect in the Whitby area. He was taken into custody without incident.
Dwayne Horace DALEY, age 33 from Whitby is charged with: Theft Over $5000, Theft Under $5000 x2, and Break-and-Enter x3.
He was held for a bail hearing.
