Male Arrested Following Drug Investigation in Oshawa
A male is facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Unit in Oshawa.
On Friday, August 21, 2026, members of the Drug Enforcement Unit, with assistance of the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team (PJFCET), concluded a drug trafficking investigation and executed a search warrant at a residence in Bowmanville. As a result, a large quantity of drugs was located and seized, including: Adderall, Percocet, cocaine, ecstasy, MDMA, GHB, mushrooms, and cannabis.
Dennis Osaka GRANT, age 46 from Clarington is charged with: Traffic in Schedule I Substance (cocaine) x2, Traffic in Schedule I Substance (MDMA), Traffic in Schedule I Substance (Percocet) x2, Traffic in Schedule I Substance (Adderall), Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling, Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Adderall), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Percocet), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (ecstasy), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDMA), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (GHB), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDA), and Possess Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (psylocibin).
Ashley OSWALD, age 40 from Whitby is charged with: Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling, Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Adderall), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Percocet), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (ecstasy), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDMA), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (GHB), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDA), and Possess Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (psylocibin).
Jennifer THOMSEN, age 57 from Whitby is charged with: Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling, Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x8, Possess Other Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x2, Traffic in Schedule I Substance (cocaine) x3, Traffic in Schedule I Substance (MDMA) x2, Traffic in Other Schedule III Substance (psylocibin), Possess Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000, and Traffic in Schedule I Substance (opioid). GRANT and THOMSEN were held for a bail hearing. OSWALD was released on an Undertaking.
