Male Arrested Following Firearm Investigation in Pickering

A male is facing charges following a firearm investigation by the DRPS Drug Enforcement Unit in Pickering.

In early July 2026, members of the Drug Enforcement Unit concluded a firearm investigation into a male suspect, and with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in Pickering. The suspect was located inside the residence and taken into custody without incident. A search of the residence located a Glock auto sear switch, drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

At the time of his arrest, the accused was on weapons prohibition conditions.

Tuan Ubayd BADURDEEN, age 19 from Ajax is charged with: Possess Prohibited Device, Possess Prohibited Device While Prohibited x2, Fail to Comply, and Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

He was held for a bail hearing.
