Male Arrested Following Human Trafficking Investigation
A male is facing charges following an investigation by the Human Trafficking Unit.
In 2026, members of the DRPS Human Trafficking Unit began an investigation into a male after it was reported that he had been trafficking a female victim in the sex trade.
Further investigation revealed the suspect had facilitated the victim’s work in the sex trade, assaulted her, and controlled her finances.
On Thursday, July 2, 2026, investigators concluded their investigation and took the suspect into custody without incident.

Jameel Winston SNIPE-DARING, age 28 from Pickering is charged with: Trafficking in Persons, Trafficking in Persons by Exercising Control, Procuring, Financial Benefit for a Peron Over 18, and Assault.
He was held for a bail hearing.
