Male Arrested Following Vehicle Fraud Investigation

A male is facing multiple charges following a vehicle financing fraud investigation in Oshawa.

Between October 22 and October 26, 2026, the accused impersonated an Oshawa resident and used forged identification to arrange the purchase of a 2027 GMC Acadia Denali from Mills Motors in Oshawa. Dealership staff contacted the real individual and confirmed he was not involved in the transaction.

Further investigation revealed the accused was bound by two release orders and was wanted on a warrant with another police service.
