Male Injured Following Carjacking in Ajax

A male sustained injuries after being assaulted by at least three suspects who attempted to force him back into his vehicle while stealing it in Ajax.

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of West Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Randall Drive and Macey Court. A male returned to his residence and was exiting his vehicle when he was approached by at least three unknown males who assaulted him and attempted to force him back into his vehicle. 

The victim was able to get away before the suspects fled the area in his vehicle. Police attended the area but did not locate the suspects. The vehicle was later located unoccupied in Pickering.

The victim suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
