Male Sought After Using Counterfeit Currency in Whitby

Police are looking for a male after he used counterfeit currency to make purchases in Whitby.

On Monday, April 13, 2026, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the suspect entered the Old Navy located at 320 Taunton Road East and purchased several items using counterfeit currency.

The suspect is described as: male, White, approximately 20-30 years-old, with a medium build, and dark moustache and goatee. He was wearing a black jacket, dark pants, and red/white sneakers.
