Male Wanted After Using Counterfeit Currency in Oshawa
A male is wanted after using counterfeit currency to purchase electronics in Oshawa.
On Monday, July 13, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a male attended the Cell Xpress located at 1000 Simcoe Street North and purchased a cell phone for $1000 in cash. A short time later the currency was identified as counterfeit and the business contacted police.
Shahfaisal Arab QURESHI, age 23 from Toronto is wanted for: Fraud Under $5000, Utter Counterfeit Currency, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.
