Male Wanted for Counterfeit Currency Fraud at Oshawa Centre

Police have issued a warrant for a male who attempted to use counterfeit currency to make purchases at the Oshawa Centre.

On Friday, March 20, 2026, at approximately 7:20 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to a fraud call at the Oshawa Centre located at 419 King Street West. A male attended various businesses and attempted to use fraudulent currency to purchase items. Mall security attempted to stop the suspect; however, he fled the area on foot.

Investigators have now identified the suspect.

Liam Dylan BRAMLEY-MONTGOMERY, age 30 from Oshawa is wanted for: Fraud Under $5000 x3, Utter Counterfeit Currency x3, and Breach Probation.
