Male Wanted for Counterfeit Currency Fraud in Oshawa
Police are searching for a male suspect after he used counterfeit currency to make purchases at a Cannabis store in Oshawa.
On Saturday, April 4, 2026, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a male entered the Sessions Cannabis located at 1 Warren Avenue in Oshawa and purchased several items using counterfeit currency. The male later returned to the store and attempted to purchase additional items with counterfeit currency but was denied.
The suspect is described as: male, White, approximately 30-40 years-old, with a thin build, brown hair, and moustache. He was wearing a Blue Jays ball cap, and blue hoodie.
