Motorcyclist Suffers Life-Altering Injuries in Collision

A 21-year-old male suffered serious, life-altering, injuries after a collision in Pickering.

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at approximately 4:35 p.m., officers from West Division responded to a single motor-vehicle collision on Liverpool Road, north of Bayly Street.

A 21-year-old male was driving a motorcycle southbound on Liverpool Road when it lost control and left the road-way. A pedestrian walking southbound on Liverpool Rd was also struck by debris.

The motorcyclist sustained serious, life-altering, injuries and was transported to a Toronto- area trauma centre where he remains in serious, but stable condition. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and attended a local area hospital.

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The cause of this collision remains under investigation.
