Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries After Collision in Oshawa
A motorcyclist suffered serious life-altering injuries following a three-vehicle collision in Oshawa.
On Monday, May 18, 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to a three-vehicle collision in the area of King Street West and Park Road North.
A Nissan SUV and a Triumph motorcycle were stopped in the left through lane on Park Road North at the intersection of Park Road North and King Street West, when a Dodge Journey collided with both vehicles from behind. The Dodge continued along the roadway finally coming to a stop after colliding with the Harvey’s restaurant at the north east corner of the intersection.
No pedestrians were injured.
The 69-year-old male motorcyclist was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre in critical condition with life altering injuries. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.
The 45-year-old male driver of the Nissan and his 15 and 7-year-old passengers were transported to a local-area hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Dodge did not sustain any injuries from the collision. He was arrested at the scene without incident.
Timothy Eugene WILSON, age 39 from Oshawa is charged with: Dangerous Operation Cause Bodily Harm, Drive While Under Suspension, and Breach Probation.
He was held for a bail hearing.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
