One Arrested One Wanted After Firearm Investigation in Courtice

A male is wanted and a female is facing charges following a firearm investigation in Courtice.

In May 2026, investigators with the Drug Enforcement Unit began an investigation into a male believed to be in possession of a firearm.

On Friday, June 5, 2026, the Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence in Courtice. A firearm with ammunition and over $118,000 of Canadian currency was located and seized. A female suspect was located in the residence and taken into custody without incident. A male suspect remains wanted.

Daniella BURGHER, age 46 from Clarington is charged with: Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of Unloaded Firearm with Ammunition.

She was held for a bail hearing.

Robert Andrew PINNOCK, age 45 from Clarington is wanted for: Possession of a Firearm, Possess Unloaded Firearm with Ammunition.
