Pedestrian Youth Suffers Serious Injuries Following Collision in Ajax
A 4-year-old female pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a single vehicle collision in Ajax.
On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at approximately 8:15 p.m., members of West Division responded to a pedestrian involved collision in the area of Keith Wright Crescent and Gillett Drive. A 4-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a Honda Civic when she crossed Keith Wright Crescent. The female youth was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The 16-year-old driver and 38-year-old passenger of the Honda did not sustain any injuries and remained on scene for the investigation.
Members of the DRPS - Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected. At this time, the investigation remains ongoing.
