Police Looking for Break-and-Enter Suspect

Police are searching for a male suspect believed to be responsible for a commercial break-and-enter in Whitby.

On Friday, September 28, 2026, officers responded to a break-and-enter at the Los Cabos restaurant in Whitby. The suspect stole an amount of currency from this location.

In 2025, officers responded to several similar break-and-enters at a number of Whitby restaurants and Investigators believe the same suspect is responsible for all incidents.

Investigators are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect captured in surveillance images. A photo of the suspect is attached and can be viewed at www.drps.ca.
