Two Arrested Following Drug Investigation ‘Project Atlantis’ in Oshawa

A male and female are facing several charges following the conclusion of Project Atlantis, a drug investigation that located multiple drugs, cash, and a prohibited weapon in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, members of the Central East Community Resource Unit concluded Project Atlantis and executed a search warrant on a temporary make-shift residence in the area of Bond Street West and McMillan Drive. A male and female were located and taken into custody without incident. A search of the temporary residence located several drugs, including: fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, Hydromorphone, and Dilaudid, a quantity of Canadian and U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia, and a prohibited Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW).

Jason BOYD, age 45 of No Fixed Address is charged with: Traffic in Schedule I Substance, Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x3, Possess Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000, Unlawfully Possess Schedule I Substance, Possess Weapon Dangerous, Possess Prohibited Weapon, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

Melissa BOYD, age 41 of No Fixed Address is charged with: Traffic in Schedule I Substance, Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x3, Unlawfully Possess Schedule I Substance, Possess Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000, Possess Weapons Dangerous, and Possess Prohibited Weapon.

Both were held for a bail hearing.
