Two Arrested for Prescription Fraud in Oshawa
Two males are facing charges after committing prescription fraud at multiple pharmacies in Oshawa.
On Friday, June 19, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to a fraud call at the pharmacy inside of the Real Canadian Superstore located at 481 Gibb Street. A male attended the pharmacy and attempted to fill a prescription with fraudulent doctor’s documents. The suspect left the area in a waiting vehicle prior to police arrival.
A short time later officers located the suspect vehicle at a second pharmacy in the area of King Street West and Stevenson Road South. Two suspects were found in the vehicle and taken into custody without incident. A search of the vehicle located fraudulent medication prescription documents and a large quantity of prescription medications valued at over $15,000.
Mohamed OUDHA, age 26 from Montreal is charged with: Fraud Under $5000, Utter Forged Document, and Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
Mohamed BOULFRED, age 39 from Montreal is charged with: Fraud Under $5000, Utter Forged Document, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, and Breach Probation.
Both were held for a bail hearing.
