Two Suspects Sought After Break-and-Enters at Business in Oshawa

Police are searching for two suspects following two break-and-enters at a hobby business in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at approximately 4:00 a.m., two males broke into Great Hobbies located at 991 Taunton Road East in Oshawa. The suspects used a slingshot style weapon to fire a projectile at the front of the business breaking the glass front door. The suspects stole over $7,000 worth of remote-controlled vehicles before fleeing the area in a white Honda Odyssey van.

On Friday, June 26, 2026, at approximately 4:40 a.m., the same suspects returned to Great Hobbies and using the same method, broke into the business again. The suspects stole over $3000 worth of remote-controlled vehicles before fleeing the area in a black Volkswagen Jetta.

The first suspect is described as: male, Brown, approximately 6’ tall, 30-40 years-old, with a slim build.

The second suspect is described as: male, Brown, approximately 5’10” tall, 20-30 years-old, with a medium build.
