Youth Arrested for Threats with Imitation Firearm at School in Oshawa
A youth is facing charges after brandishing an imitation firearm and making threats in a classroom at a Secondary School in Oshawa.
On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, a student at a secondary school in the area of Harmony Road North and Coldstream Drive brandished a firearm during class and made threats to fellow students.
On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, after further investigation, the youth surrendered themself to investigators at East Division. Officers seized the imitation firearm used during the incident.
A 14-year-old from Oshawa is charged with: Possess Weapon Dangerous, and Uttering Threats.
They were released on an Undertaking.
