The body-worn camera footage application is subject to a fee of $75.00 for each incident.
As an institution under MFIPPA, requested footage will be analysed according to the legislation and access may be granted in full, partial or denied in its entirety. You will receive a written response explaining our decision and notification of a refund issued if you are denied access.
Not all incidents have body-worn camera footage. If body-worn camera footage does not exist for the incident you seek, you will be notified in writing and issued a refund.
Note: Confirmation of the existence of body-worn camera footage will not be provided prior to receipt of your formal request.

What does partial access mean?
The body-worn camera footage will have redactions/blurred images and/or muted audio for sections where access is not granted.
BWC Requests are subject to a $75 per incident.
If I am denied access to the request will I get a refund for the fee?
Yes, you will be notified in writing, and a refund will be issued.
How long will it take to get a response?
Responses to the applicant will be sent by secure download link from Axon-Evidence.com via email. We endeavour to respond within 30 days of the request with the exception of an extension pursuant to the legislation.
