Community Safety Day Brings Out Hundreds in East Division!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for East Division’s Community Safety Day, where hundreds of residents came together to learn, explore, and connect with local emergency services.

Families and community members had the chance to tour specialized vehicles and displays from DRPS units, including Forensic Identification, our new light armoured vehicle, and a wide variety of fire trucks and emergency service vehicles. A fan-favourite was the Touch-A-Truck zone, which featured everything from a 50-ton crane to a pink cement truck raising awareness for breast cancer.

We were thrilled to meet so many of you and share what we do to help keep our communities safe. Thank you for stopping by, asking questions, and showing your support.
