Female Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Ajax Collision
A 61-year-old-female suffered life threatening injuries after a serious two vehicle collision in Ajax.
On Sunday June 22, 2025 at approximately 5:45 p.m., members from West Division responded to a serious motor vehicle collision at Kingston Road West and Chapman Drive. A 60-year-old female from Pickering was driving a blue Toyota Corolla in the intersection when it collided with a black Honda Accord.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries however her passenger, a 61-year-old Pickering female, was transported to a Toronto area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Honda, an 18-year-old Pickering male was uninjured. His two passengers, an 18-year-old female and a 19-year-old female, were transported to a local area hospital with minor injuries.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The cause of this collision remains under investigation.
