Join Us in Celebrating Police Week

DRPS will officially launch 2025 Police Week on Monday, May 12, 2025. This year, Police Week runs from May 11 to 17, 2025 with the theme: Committed to Serve Together. The public awareness campaign encourages connections between the police and the communities they serve.

This campaign emphasizes how police officers are both members of the community they live in and members of the police community they work in. Under the theme "Committed to Serve Together," we acknowledge the crucial partnership between members of a police service, other police services and first responders, as well as between the police and the organizations and communities they serve.

Officers from the DRPS Community Safety Unit will be hosting an information booth at the Oshawa Centre from Monday, May 12, through to Thursday May 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m daily.

DRPS will have vintage cruisers on display, as well as free giveaways and information.

Follow us on X @DRPS, Instagram @drps_official or Facebook @OfficialDRPS to check out our Police Week posts. DRPS and other participating agencies will be utilizing the hashtag #PoliceWeekON to connect with our followers.
