Male Arrested and Suspect Wanted After Stabbing in Oshawa
Police have arrested one male and are looking for a second suspect after a stabbing in Oshawa.
On Monday, August 11, 2025, at approximately 6:35 p.m., members of Central East Division responded call for three males fighting in the area of Mary Street North and William Street East for three males fighting. The victim was playing basketball when he was approached by two males. A verbal argument started before the victim and suspects went to the road where a physical altercation took place. During the altercation, the victim was stabbed. The suspects fled the area prior to police arrival.
Officers applied a tourniquet to the victim who was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Through investigation, officers identified one of the suspects. On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, members of the East Crime Team arrested one of the suspects in the area of King Street West and Nassau Street.
Dajon COLLEY, age 19, of No Fixed Address, is charged with multiple offences, including: Aggravated Assault; Assault with a Weapon x2 and Breach Probation x3.
He was held for a bail hearing.
The second suspect remains outstanding.
