Male Arrested for Break-and-Enter in Uxbridge
A 50-year-old male has been arrested for attempting to break into a house in Uxbridge.
On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at approximately 1:15 a.m. members of North Division responded to a break-and-enter in progress call in the area of Regional Highway 47 and Goodwood Road. The suspect attempted to gain entry into the residence, causing extensive damage to the exterior and several vehicles in the driveway. The residents were home at the time, however no physical injuries have been reported.
The suspect fled prior to police arrival but was identified shortly after.
Members of North Community Response Unit arrested the suspect without incident.
Brian MASCHKE, age 50, of Toronto, is charged with: Break-and-Enter Dwelling House with Intent, Mischief / Damage Property Over $5000 x 4, Uttering Threats, Fail to comply with Undertaking, Disobey lawful order of court.
He was held for a bail hearing.
