Male Arrested in Child Luring Investigation

A 36-year-old male has been arrested after a child luring investigation.  

On Thursday July 3, 2025, members from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) concluded an investigation into an adult male communicating with whom he believed was a 14-year-old girl. The male sent sexually explicit messages, and offered to pick the female up to engage in sexual acts.

The male suspect operated online under usernames “SingleDad” and “dalton_fwb.”

A search warrant was executed on the accused’s address in Scugog and he was taken into custody without incident.

Police are concerned there may be other victims and are requesting anyone with information to come forward.

Nicolas FRANGINI, age 36 of Scugog, is charged with: Luring a Person Under 16 By Means of Telecommunication for the Purpose of Facilitating the Commission of Sexual Assault, Luring a Person Under 16 By Means of Telecommunication for the Purpose of Facilitating the Commission of Sexual Interference, Luring a Person Under 18 by Means of Telecommunication for the Purpose of Facilitating the Commission of Making Child Pornography and Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to a Child Under 18 for the Purpose of Facilitating the Commission of Making Child Pornography.

He was held for a bail hearing.
