Male Facing Charges After Child Luring Investigation

A 30-year-old male has been arrested after a child luring investigation.  

In late February, members of the DRPS Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) began an investigation into an adult male communicating with a 14-year-old girl online. The male sent sexually explicit messages and arranged to meet with her in person.

On July 11, 2025, members from the DRPS ICE Unit arrested the suspect without incident.

Police are concerned there may be other victims and would like to speak with anyone with information. The male suspect operated online under usernames “Nyke” on Discord and “sir.campos” on Snapchat.

Brian CAMPOS BOLANOS, age 30 of Cambridge, is charged with: Luring a Person Under the Age of 16 for the Purpose of Facilitating the Commission of Sexual Assault, Luring a Person Under the Age of 16 for the Purpose of Facilitating the Commission of Sexual Interference, Luring a Person Under the Age of 16 for the Purpose of Facilitating the Commission of Invitation to Sexual Touching, Luring a Person Under the Age of 18 for the Purpose of Facilitating the Commission of Making Child Pornography.

He was held for a bail hearing.
