Male Injured After E-bike Collision in Whitby

A 28-year-old male was injured in a collision involving an e-bike and motor vehicle in Whitby.

On Thursday, August 7, 2025 at approximately 8:30 p.m., members from Central West Division were called to a collision involving an e-bike and motor vehicle at Lakeridge Road South and Dundas Street West. The e-bike was travelling eastbound on Dundas Street West when it struck a west-bound Toyota Sienna as it made a left-hand turn to head southbound on Lakeridge Road South. The male on the e-bike was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with non-life threatening injuries.

The area of the roadway was closed while evidence was collected.

The driver of the mini-van was charged with making an unsafe turn.
