Ongoing Property Damage Investigations in Pickering and Ajax

Durham Regional Police Service is investigating a series of property damage incidents that have occurred at two separate residential addresses in the city of Pickering and town of Ajax. Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible as they are believed to be connected to similar incidents.
Between Monday December 30, 2024 and Tuesday May 13, 2025, a male suspect targeted a residence multiple times in the area of Alanbury Crescent and Lynn Heights Drive in Pickering. The suspect vandalized the same vehicle on three separate occasions. The acts of vandalism included slashing the tires, smashing the rear window, and shooting the windows with a pellet gun.
The male suspect is described as: male, White, slender build, 16 to 25 years old. He was wearing a black hoodie, grey jogging pant and black/white shoes.
Between Friday April 11, 2025 and Saturday May 3, 2025, a suspect targeted a residence in the area of Ventura Lane and Ducatel Crescent, in Ajax on three occasions. In similar circumstances, a male suspect attended the same address on two separate occasions and damaged vehicles. During the most recent incident, the suspect returned and fired pellets at the house, resulting in damaged windows.
The male suspect is described as: male, White, thin build, 20’s . He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, light coloured jogging pants and white shoes.
In all cases, the suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
