Police are looking to identify a male suspect after a theft in Ajax.
On January, 1, 2025 at approximately 3:40 a.m., members of West Division responded to a theft call at a Circle K located at 460 Bayly Street West, Ajax. The suspect entered the store and walked behind the counter and took several lottery tickets and cigarettes. The suspect demanded the employee open the cash register at which time the suspect proceeded to take a quantity of cash.
The suspect fled prior to police arrival.
The suspect is described as: male, wearing a black hoodie, grey trackpants and black shoes. He was carrying a green grocery bag.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone that knows this male to please contact police. A photo of the suspect can be viewed at www.drps.ca
