Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect after Assault in Oshawa

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect after assaulting a male in Oshawa.
On Friday July, 25, 2025 members from Central East Division responded to an assault call in the area of Wilson Road North and Taunton Road East.
Officers arrived and located the victim suffering from minor injuries.
The victim advised he had been driving and exchanged words with another driver whom he believed to be possibly impaired. The suspect proceeded to follow the victim into a nearby parking lot when the victim exited his vehicle, the suspect began assaulting the victim.
The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.
The suspect is described as: male, White, approximately 6 feet, approximately 20 years old. He was wearing a t-shirt, shorts and work boots.
The suspect vehicle is described as: black Ford Escape unknown license plate.
