Police Looking for Information after Shooting in Oshawa
Police are looking for information after a shooting Wednesday night in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at approximately 10:15 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Albert Street and First Avenue after multiple gunshots were heard. Officers arrived and located multiple shell casings in the area. Video surveillance shows a male running northbound on Albert Street when the suspect begins shooting at him. Both parties flee prior to police arrival and no physical injuries were reported.
At this time, investigators believe this to be an isolated incident.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with video footage, including dashcam, in the area of the Albert Street from First Avenue to Albany Street between 10 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. to contact police.
