Police Looking for Information on Whitby Shooting
Police are looking for a suspect after shots were fired at a home on Monday in Whitby.
On Monday, July 21, 2025, at approximately 7:10 a.m., members of Central West Criminal Investigations Branch responded to the area of Maria Street and Annes Street after a homeowner found bullet holes in their front door. Officers located a number of shell casings on scene. Residents were home at the time of the shooting, however no physical injuries were reported.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with video footage, including dashcam and home surveillance, to contact police. Specifically, anyone in the area between Gilbert Street West and Newman Crescent, from Annes Street to Frances Street, between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
