Police Searching for Three Suspects After Male Shot in Ajax
Police are searching for three suspects after a shooting in Ajax that left a male with serious injuries.
On Sunday, July 6, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m., members of West Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Commercial Avenue and Hunt Street. Police arrived on scene and located one male victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries.
Investigators have learned the victim and suspects had a verbal altercation prior to the shooting. Police believe this is an isolated incident.
Police are looking for two suspects. The suspects are described as:
Suspect 1: male, approximately six feet tall. He was wearing a black baseball cap, facemask, hoodie, jeans and black shoes.
Suspect 2: male, heavy build. He was wearing a face mask and all black clothing.
Suspect 3: male. He was wearing a face covering, hoodie, black pants and light coloured shoes.
The suspects arrived in a vehicle. The suspect vehicle is described as a Grey four door vehicle, unknown make or model.
