Police Seeking Witnesses After a Youth was Stabbed in Ajax
Police are looking for any witnesses after a 16-year-old male was stabbed in Ajax.
On Friday, June 13, 2025, at approximately 11:55 p.m., members of West Division responded to the area of Audley Road and Lythgoe Lane after multiple 9-1-1 calls were received for a fight. A large number of people were seen dispersing from area as officers arrived on scene. Officers were unable to locate any injured parties.
A short time later a 16-year-old male attended a local-area hospital suffering from stab wounds. It was confirmed that the victim was injured during the fight call. He was subsequently transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he remains in stable, but critical condition.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with video footage, including cellphone, to please come forward to police. Specifically, anyone with footage from Lakeside Park between the hours of 11:30 p.m. to midnight on June 13.
