Scugog Male Facing Attempted Murder Charge
A 28-year-old male is charged with attempted murder in Blackstock.
On Friday, June 20, 2025, at approximately 4:15 a.m., members of North Division responded to an assist ambulance call in the area of Sunrise Drive and Crestview Avenue. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male suffering from obvious signs of trauma. The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he remains in stable condition.
The suspect was arrested on scene by police. The suspect and victim are known to each other.
Craig SNOWDEN, age 28, of Scugog has been charged with: Attempt Murder; Aggravated Assault; Assault with a Weapon and Possess Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace.
He was held for a bail hearing.
