Significant Quantity of Drugs Seized During Project Quantum
Three people have been arrested and are facing multiple charges after police executed two search warrants in Pickering.
On Thursday, June 12, 2025, the Durham Regional Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Gun and Gang Enforcement Unit concluded a seven-month drug investigation dubbed “Project Quantum” with the arrest of three individuals and the execution of two warrants at addresses in Pickering.
During the search of the residence and a vehicle, investigators seized several items, including two magazines with ammunition, more than 1.1 kilograms of cocaine, a quantity of heroin and fentanyl and more than $40,000 in cash.
A 38-year-old male from Pickering has been charged with Possession for the Purpose (Cocaine) x 2, Possession for the Purpose (Heroin), Possession for the Purpose (Fentanyl), Possess Prohibited Device and Fail to Comply Weapons Prohibition x 3.
A 35-year-old female from Pickering has been charged with Possession for the Purpose (Cocaine), Possession for the Purpose (Heroin), Possession for the Purpose (Fentanyl), and Possess Prohibited Device.
A 54-year-old male from Mississauga has been charged with Possession for the Purpose (Cocaine).
All three were held for a bail hearing.
