Suspects Wanted After Violent Attempted Bank Robbery in Ajax
Police are searching for three suspects after a violent attempted bank robbery in Ajax.
On Monday, June 2, 2025, at approximately 8:40 a.m., members from West Division responded to the Equity Credit Union located at 1-299 Kingston Road East for a robbery. An employee was approaching the front doors of the bank when the suspects grabbed her and physically forced their way inside. A second employee was held at gunpoint while suspects demanded entry to the vault. The suspects were unable to enter the vault and stole personal items and cash from the victims. The suspects fled the area in a black sedan.
One victim sustained physically injuries and was assessed by paramedics at the scene.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1: male, Brown, wearing black mask, beige sweater, light pants, black gloves and black running shoes.
Suspect #2: male, Brown, heavy build, wearing a black mask, black jacket, black pants and dark running shoes.
Suspect #3: driver of the vehicle. Unknown description.
Investigators are asking anyone with dashcam, cellphone, surveillance footage, or any information about this incident is asked to contact the Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
