DRPS Community Fun Days

The Community Fun Days hosted by DRPS’ North and West Division saw many residents come out and enjoy various activities.

Residents had an opportunity to tour vehicles and displays from units such as Forensic Identification and other emergency services. DRPS’ new light armored vehicle (LAV) also made its debut.

Thank you to all residents who attended and spent time learning about policing - we hope you enjoyed meeting our members, including the four-legged furry ones who are always the fan favourites.

A special thanks to the DRPS' specialty units who volunteered their time, the DRPS K9 Unit and all of the members who made both events a huge success. Thanks to our community safety partners - Ajax Fire, Region of Durham Paramedic Services, Scugog Fire Services, and Brock Township Fire Department who helped make the day a success.

Finally, to all attendees who brought non-perishable food items - because of you, we were able to bring police cruisers full of food to the food bank. We were also able to collect a great deal of pop tabs to support the DRPS Children’s Games. Thank you!
