Drug Investigation Results in Two Arrests

A male and female are facing drug trafficking charges after a search warrant was executed at a residence in Clarington.

On Friday, October 6, 2023, members of the East Division Community Response Team, with the assistance of the DRPS Drug Enforcement Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Liberty Street South and Baseline Road in Clarington.  Approximately $21,000 worth of drugs and drug paraphernalia were located and seized.  A male and female were taken into custody without incident.

Stuart STRICKLAND, age 39 of Clarington is charged with: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine), Possess Opioid for the Purpose of Trafficking, Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

Kayla DONNISON, age 36 of No Fixed Address is charged with: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine).

Both were held for a bail hearing.
