DRPS conducted mandatory roadside screening for alcohol to over 70 commercial motor vehicle operators, and we are pleased to announce that no commercial drivers had alcohol in their system. One passenger vehicle did enter the line and the female driver was arrested and charged for impaired related offences.

A complete list of those charged with Impaired/Exceed will be posted on our website www.drps.ca

Note: Under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act, anyone charged with a drinking and driving criminal offence will have their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded automatically for seven days.
