Four Male Suspects Wanted in Elderly Distraction Theft

Investigators are looking to identify four male suspects in elderly distraction theft.

On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, an elderly female attended a local business in Ajax.  The elderly victim was targeted by four males who followed her into the business.  The four suspects watched the victim pay for items using her debit card and PIN.  The suspects followed the victim out of the business as she exited toward her vehicle.  Two of the suspects acted as lookouts while a third suspect engaged the victim in conversation telling her she had a nail in her vehicle tire.  While the victim was distracted, the fourth suspect entered the opposite side of her vehicle undetected and removed her purse.  All four suspects fled the area.   

The first suspect is described as male, White, wearing a black hat, blue dress shirt, white undershirt, and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as male, White, with a goatee.  He was wearing a black baseball hat, blue and white checkered shirt, and black under shirt.

The third suspect is described as male, White, with short dark hair, and stubble on his face.  He was wearing dark sunglasses, and a red shirt, and dark pants.

The fourth suspect is described as male, White, with stubble on his face.  He was wearing a black baseball hat, and a white t-shirt, and white shorts.
