Join Us in Celebrating Police Week

DRPS will officially launch 2023 Police Week on Monday, May 15, 2023. This year, Police Week runs from May 14 to 20, 2023 with the theme of Building Bridges: Celebrating Police - Community Partnerships. The national week aims to celebrate the important role our police officers and personnel play in helping Canadian build and maintain healthy and safe communities in partnership with the communities we serve.

Officers from DRPS’ Community Safety Unit will be hosting an information booth at the Oshawa Centre from Monday, May 15, through to Thursday May 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m daily. Members of the media and public are invited to an official launch on May 15 at 10 a.m.

Our media Sgt. Joanne Bortoluss will also be doing a tweet-a-long on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 starting at 9:00 a.m. Be sure to follow us on Twitter @DRPS using hashtag #DRPStweets
