Male Arrested for Drug Trafficking and Prohibited Firearms

A male is facing firearm and drug charges after an investigation by the Central East Division Community Response Team.

On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, members of the Central East Division Community Response Team, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, executed a search warrant at a property in the area of Cedar Street and Simcoe Street South in Oshawa.  As a result, a quantity of drugs, cash, a loaded prohibited firearm, and prohibited magazines were seized.

The Central East Division Community Response Team also executed a warrant at a storage locker in the area of Harbour Street and Watson Street East in Whitby, where an additional prohibited firearm, drugs, cash, and ammunition were located and seized.

Nathaniel REYNOLDS, age 21 from Whitby is charged with numerous offences including: Possess Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking x1, Possess Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking x1, Possess Other Schedule I Substance x1, Possess Restricted/Prohibited Firearm x2, Possess Prohibited Device x4, and Fail to Comply with Release Order x2.

He was held for a bail hearing.
