Male Masseuse Arrested for Voyeurism

A mobile massage therapist has been arrested after secretly recording a female client at her residence.

On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at approximately 6:15 p.m., members from West Division responded to a sexual assault call at a residence in the area of Rougemount Drive and Altona Road, in Pickering.  The victim contacted Akwaaba Mobile Massage to have a massage therapist attend her home.  While undressing prior to the massage, the victim found the suspect’s phone propped up and recording her.  The victim confronted the suspect who left the residence prior to police arrival.  The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.

On Thursday, January 25, 2024, after further investigation, the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Godwin ASANTE, age 32 from Markham is charged with: Voyeurism.

He was released on an Undertaking.
