Male Recovering after Being Stabbed in Oshawa

A male is recovering after being stabbed at a home in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at approximately 11:15 p.m., members of East Division responded to a stabbing call on Esterbrook Drive in Oshawa.  Officers attended the scene; however, the victim was not located.  A short time later, a vehicle was observed driving erratically near Taunton Road and Country Lane in Whitby.  Upon stopping the vehicle, officers located the victim.  He was transported to a Toronto-area hospital in non-life-threatening condition. 

Officers spoke with individuals who were in the vehicle who provided false and misleading information to police.  Officers were eventually able to determine the stabbing took place in a home in Oshawa and are continuing with the investigation.

The individuals involved are not cooperating with police and investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Atticus MACVICAR, age 26 from Clarington has been charged with Obstruct Police.
